Case Configuration
Configure the case structure before entering any offers or demands. You can always return here to add parties or edit case details.
Case Information
Parties & Complaint Structure
Add all parties (one entry per party — use the Roles checkboxes for multi-role parties). Or Import from Pleading to auto-extract parties & claim groups from a complaint and approve them. Each party generates independent demand/offer tracks.
Claim Groupings & Relationships
Define logical claim groupings (e.g., "Main Action", "3rd-Party Indemnity Claim", "Cross-Claims"). This allows tracking of distinct claim tracks and joint/global offers between parties.
Resolution & Confidentiality
Record how the mediation ends — this outcome is the label that powers history and future predictive analytics. Confidentiality settings stay with this matter and control what an analytics export may include. Your data is always your own; nothing leaves this device unless you export it.

Valuation, Risk & Apportionment
Risk-adjusted decision modeling. Enter each party's liability probability, expected verdict, costs, fee/lien structure, and apportionment share via Edit matter setup → Edit Party. This tab turns those inputs into reservation values, net-to-client, a rational settlement range, and a fair-share contribution model.
Add parties and their valuation inputs to enable risk modeling.

Hypothetical Scenario Modeling
What this is for. Test a "what-if" move privately — "What if BuildCo offers $2.7M?" or "What if the plaintiff drops to $2.4M?" — and see exactly how it reshapes the whole-case gap, midpoint, rational settlement range, and settlement likelihood before you propose it in the room. Nothing here touches your live data.
How to use it: ① pick the party whose move you want to model · ② enter the amount that party would land at (their new contribution/position) · ③ read the Whole-case impact cards and the "What this means / what to do" guidance below.
Worked example: with the demo loaded, choose BuildCo, amount 2,700,000, type Offer. The analysis shows the pooled offer jump (BuildCo's contribution rises inside the joint), the gap narrow, the midpoint shift, and whether the offer now lands inside the rational range — plus a one-line read on what to do next.
